Easily captures and displays chamber pressure

A system for capturing, displaying and storing the internal pressure of a firearm when it is fired. The system uses a strain gage fastened to the firearm barrel. A microcontroller in the the PressureTrace module monitors the signal from the strain gage amplifier circuit. When the barrel starts to expand, readings of the expansion are taken. When the event is finished, the data is sent to a personal computer running software that can display and store the data for future use.

While the Shooting Chrony chronographs are quick to set up and use they suffer from an extremely limited user interface. ChronoCap addresses the user interface issue and significantly eases use of the chronograph by helping you with downloading shots and configuring the chronograph.

ChronoCap also adds multiple levels of versatility to the operation of your chronograph by allowing you to operate it without the need for any of the Shooting Chrony front panel controls or built in menus. You can collect data from the chronograph "on the fly", give shot strings fully descriptive names, easily start new strings right from the ChronoCap program and view constantly updated shot string statistics.

Neck Tension and Recoil Force Measuring System

Experienced shooters have long understood consistent neck tension is critical to achieving extreme accuracy. LoadForce-250™ is a calibrated system with no moving or bending parts. New technology called a "compression" gage enclosed in a stainless steel anvil fits any single stage press or arbor press for measuring neck tension or crimp force.

Until now measuring recoil required expensive lab equipment and typical stationary test method employed by most labs produce measurements that are not reflective of the actual recoil "felt" by a shooter. The LoadForce-250 will capture the actual peak force imparted to a shooter's shoulder and when connected to a PC will display the entire recoil force curve.
